Why work for ITI?
Challenge
ITI operates in a global marketplace. We are one of the few profitable US manufacturing
companies that engineer and fabricate products in the US but export about 80% of
our sales to Asia and Europe. It’s a challenge - are you up to it?
Continuous Learning
ITI strongly encourages our employees to undertake continuous learning and professional
development. ITI covers the cost of job-related seminars, classes and books, and
also can provide flexible work schedules for class attendance.
Performance
ITI operates as a meritocracy - pay and promotions are tightly linked to performance,
and we use an effective appraisal system so people know where they stand. We encourage
employees to take calculated risks - both successes and failures add strength to
our company.
Diversity
We have a diverse employee base - it's performance that counts.
Rigor
We utilize tight hiring standards. We have strict criteria based on intelligence
and demonstrated experience. If selected as a candidate for a professional position,
you will undergo a number of interviews with peers and managers. This provides opportunities
for you to present your best side, and also for you to learn about the position
and our culture.
Growth
ITI has a long history of profitability, and with our new employees we are working
to increase our growth rate.
Benefits
ITI provides extensive company-paid benefits including 401k/profit sharing, vacation
(increasing each year for the first 8 - 10 years), sick leave, paid holidays and
broad health coverage (medical insurance, dental insurance, vision plan, life insurance,
long-term disability).
Activities
We are located in a 65,000 sq. ft. modern facility in affordable Oxnard, California,
about one hour north of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the way to Santa
Barbara. We are just 10 minutes from beaches and harbors for swimming, surfing and
boating. Local islands are only 10 miles offshore, and are easily accessible through
daily scheduled boating services for hiking, camping, kayaking and scuba diving.
There are many excellent golf courses in the area, both public and private, along
with ample roads and trails for bicycling and lakes for water skiing and wake boarding.
The local mountains provide an abundance of hiking trails. Skiing and snowboarding
are just two hours away.
